State of the Pups
Aug. 3rd, 2009 02:53 pmSince the H&M people on Harry's friends list did this, it got me thinking about it. I didn't do one last month and there isn't a TR one this month, so this is not just TR.

TR: State of the Pups

Jo almost has more plot than I know what to do with. There's going to be a girly trip to the Catscratch Club on 19th June (date subject to change), to which the whole island will effectively be invited. Then she has plot with Julian for their auction days. I have a thread to start with the Doctor asking him about Cliff. In August she's going home with Abby. Then maybe in the autumn I'll do a sciency plot with her.
I'm half-tempted to show her The Green Death, which wouldn't quite be a canon puncture on the basis that she wouldn't see it that way. But it would have implications for her future relationships on the island and with the Doctor, so I'd have to think very carefully before I did that.
She's definitely going to be doing more growing up over the next few months and learn to lean less on the Doctor and Julian and make decisions for herself. And maybe do something about the fact that the Doctor needs her to look after him, rather than the other way round.
At some point she might work out that she's happy on TR and doesn't want to go home - at the moment she's come to the first conclusion, but not the second.
Harry
Harry's quite busy these days with a shift at each clinic, going out on the Dawn Treader, rowing and the possibility of rugby in the future too. That he's happy is contributing to him getting over Sarah, but it'll be a month or two (ish) yet. His item of his shot shoes will have more of an effect come the blizzard when he'll lose his current shoes and have a really, awkward, uncomfortable plot with Benny. Until we've played it I don't know what the fallout from that will be, so I don't have a plan beyond that.
Although I'd like him to meet Casey at some point and find out about his relationship with Sarah at some point later than that but I have yet to get anywhere on the first part of that yet. And maybe at some point he needs to sort out his differences with the Doctor.
Teal'c
Teal'c's been a big casualty of me being ill because I'm still new to playing him, so he's harder to play than the other two. He also doesn't do much small talk, or think or move much, which makes his tags and threads short. However, I was determined to make reqs with him this month and I managed that, and started some private plot posts.
He's on probation at the moment, though, because it seems unfair to have him and not play him enough. I do have some plot to come with him not joining the ITF yet, I just need to work out what that's going to involve. I'm sure I had a vague idea a while ago, but I can't remember it now.
At some point there should be a team Star Wars watching session, although I may give Teal'c Star Wars in some form for NDPD, which would be an excellent excuse for him to force them to watch it.

Introduction
May. 6th, 2009 11:20 amSince lots of people have different accounts for different things, I thought I'd have one for RP things. This is mostly because in the_blank_slate people will talk about it in their LJs rather than in their character's LJs, as I'm used to elsewhere. Since I use a different email address for RP things, it means I can use that email address with this account and so talk RP things in people's personal accounts and have replies sent to my RP email address. Cunning, huh?
So, a quick rundown of who I play(ed):
Current:
Harry Sullivan (Doctor Who): shot_my_shoes at Relative Space, Tabula Rasa and various prompt comms.
Jo Grant (Doctor Who): unit_girl at Relative Space and Tabula Rasa. She's RP only, although I occasionally write prompts for her, she's not in any prompt comms.
Ian Chesterton (Doctor Who): splendid_roman at Relative Space and I currently don't really know what else to do with him.
Teal'c (Stargate): jaffa_notacake at Tabula Rasa and unlikely to be played anywhere else in the future.
Harry Pearce (Spooks): sir_spook I've only just started playing and I'm sticking to one-on-one RPs for the moment.

Sophie Deveraux (Leverage): not_sophie was more of a whim than anything else and I don't know if I'll keep her.
